I just finished watching the 60 Minutes interview with Andre Agassi. It centred on the shocking revelation of his drug use (Crystal Meth) during the 90’s and his dark hate of playing tennis. It centered on his fathers extreme approach pushing him into tennis from the age of 5, forcing him to play a sport he was not interested in, as the families way to the American Dream. He hated playing tennis through his hay day and really did not “choose” to play tennis and really find inspiration until 1998, when he chose to recommit. He says his intentions were not to bring shame to the sport, but to offer a life lesson for other athletes who may be struggling a similar situation. But here is the question:

How has your opinion (if you had one) of him changed with this admission? If you didn’t have one, what do make of his admission now that he is retired?
